I can't cook: don't try this at home
hii
Soz, it's been a while. I know you'll all be absolutely beside yourselves waiting on this next post!
Unfortunately the recipe I’ve made for this post doesn’t look or taste as good as the cashew chicken from the last post. To be quite honest, the recipe from this post turned out rotten. Just putting that out there now; I don’t want anybody being disappointed when they come to the minging picture at the end.
For my 2nd proper post I really fancied making some form of cake from the Tasty app but, me being lazy as per, I really could not be bothered actually making a cake. They take a lot of effort and involve having to go and buy ingredients, baking utensils etc. Thennnn I came across some recipes for those mug cakes that you make in the microwave, smashing.
The Tasty app has loads of different options for mug cakes (strawberries and cream mug cake, cookies and cream mug cake, nutella mug cake etc.) I chose to make the birthday cake mug cake (link here) because who doesn’t like birthday cake? (pic below of what it’s supposed to look like.)
You mix the ingredients up in a mug, fire it in the microwave and that is literally it. Sounds simple enough but mines deffo did not turn out the way it should have done. Mines came out looking like a big sponge in a mug. Greetin. It looked even worse due to the fact that I realised I had no sprinkles or icing etc. to hide the sponge-like appearance. That's all I'm going to say about the mug cake (partly because it came out rubbish and partly because I only have a 300 word limit.)
Valuable life lesson: if you want cake, don't be lazy and make it properly. Or just buy one from tesco for easiness xxx
💘
ps bonus pic of my dog as per, I know that's why you've read this far:
